What is Psychotherapy? How is it different from other mental health professionals?

What is your approach to psychotherapy?
There are many different modalities of psychotherapy. I use an Eclectic Approach where I combine CBT, DBT, Psychoeducation, Trauma Informed, Strength Based, and Neurodiversity Affirming Approach. I understand that not all treatment approaches are designed for everyone, and therefore, when a client engages in therapy with me, I am consistently seek feedback to make my approach more culturally sensitive and relevant.
How do I know you are the right psychotherapist for me?
You can schedule a 15-minute no-obligation consultation for free where I can address any concerns and questions you have and we can decide if I am the right fit for you. If you start your journey with me, and you feel I am not the right fit for you (e.g. there is a conflict of interest, you need other specialized services, etc.) I can support you to find another therapist and provide a smooth transition before you end services with me.
