About Me: Your ally in Healing and Growth

Krishna Vora
Registered Psychotherapist, Ontario

I’m Krishna Vora, MA, Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #006207) — based in Whitby, Ontario, serving individuals in Whitby and across Ontario virtually.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent adults, post-secondary students, parents of children/young adults with ADHD or learning differences, and immigrants, newcomers, and first- or second-generation Canadians navigating identity, culture, and belonging.

Why I do this work

I come from a lived experience of neurodivergence and immigration that helps me hold space for the complex intersections of neurodivergence, culture, migration, identity and mental health. I believe therapy is most helpful when it’s not “one-size-fits-all”: our brains, histories, and identities shape our experience.

My goal is to offer trauma-informed, culturally humble, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy — a place where you are seen, heard, and supported without judgment.

Who I work with

  • Neurodivergent adults exploring ADHD or learning differences
  • Post-secondary students trying to balance school, life, and neurodivergent stress
  • Parents of neurodivergent children/young adults, needing guidance, advocacy, and support
  • Immigrants, first- or second-generation Canadians dealing with culture shock, identity questions, intergenerational expectations, grief, belonging, and adaptation
  • Individuals from BIPOC and/or LGBTQ2+ communities, seeking a therapist attuned to intersectional identity and systemic influences

My Approach & Values

  • Warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental — you are the expert on your life; together we explore what works for you.
  • Trauma-informed & culturally humble — I respect your background, culture, and identity; I stay curious rather than assume.
  • Neurodiversity-affirming — I do not pathologize neurodivergence; I recognize strength, difference, and valid variation in how people think, learn, and feel.
  • Flexible & practical — I aim to integrate practical coping strategies, life-skills, self-advocacy, and emotional understanding — not just talk therapy.

What You Can Expect

Working with me means:

  • A safe space to explore how neurodivergence, culture, migration, identity shape your life
  • Honesty, empathy, and support — without judgment or pressure
  • Practical strategies for daily living: time management, self-care, boundaries, communication, relationships
  • Help navigating culture, family expectations, school/work, parenting, belonging
